The CEU is a nationally recognized uniform unit of measurement designed to permanently record an individual's non-credit continuing education accomplishments in increments of one CEU per 10 contact hours of instruction. The successful completion of most OPD courses entitles participants to earn 0.7 Continuing Educations Units (CEUs) per day of instruction for most programs. Engineers can earn PDHs on any program he/she attends that is co-sponsored by the Industrial Extension Service, a provider of Professional Development Hours.
Other courses may have credits that are acceptable for license renewal by the State Board of CPA Examiners, the State Board of Electrical Contractors, and other licensing boards.
